He was very friendly, interacting with the locals in a vibrant jolly way, and introducing us to the residents and vendors, all of whom were eager to have a friendly chat and practise their English. We sampled some traditional Saudi food and Gawah (Arabic coffee), and stopped for fruit juices to quench our thirst. It is worthwhile timing your tour halfway either side…”

“It was short and not very informative. For the same money we did another tour that was fantastic and 90 min of history and information. This old town tour could have provided a lot more historical information but all I got out of it was that there were 900 mud brick houses. .... I took extensive notes on all my tours but in this tour, I only came away with 3 words.... 900 mudbrick houses....I don't recommend this tour. However, the staff were very nice.”
